As a leading provider in the Assisted-Living Technology industry, we are seeking a dedicated International Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a vital role in managing international logistics and providing outstanding Customer Service to our valued Members and suppliers.
Position Overview:
This position is initially offered on a 12-month Full Time Contract, with the prospect of converting to permanent. As an International Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring smooth global operations and member satisfaction. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating container schedules, maintaining supplier information, liaising with overseas suppliers, managing spare parts and warranty claims, and delivering exceptional Customer Service to address member inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and update container schedules, maintaining efficient coordination.
- Raise Customer Orders and create orders on international suppliers for fulfilment to Australia
- Manage international supplier item codes, catalogues, and liaise with suppliers.
- Collaborate with Domestic CSR and Finance teams for accurate invoicing.
- Communicate container details, optimize product placements, and consolidate orders.
- Handle warranty claims, provide exceptional service, and address inquiries promptly.
- Build strong member and supplier relationships, share feedback, and identify improvements.
- Coordinate shipping documents, unpacking reports, and process orders efficiently.
About You:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Intermediate Microsoft Word and Outlook skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for liaising with overseas suppliers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills to meet international shipping deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills for logistics and member inquiries.
- Patience and empathy in handling inquiries and concerns.
- Global cultural awareness for exceptional cross-border service.
- Previous experience in international logistics (desirable).
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central (desirable).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping terms (Incoterms) (desirable).
