- Work with Australia’s peak national organisation for the community HIV response, with an active International Program in the Asia Pacific region
- Rewarding opportunity to manage the new ‘Indo-Pacific HIV Partnership’ program, in Fiji and PNG, in partnership with UNAIDS, local partners and DFAT
- Opportunity to strategically contribute to the development of the International Program
- Would suit an experienced program manager with excellent program and stakeholder management, DFAT grant management, and communications skills
This new role calls for an experienced development practitioner and team player who can work independently within a strong community-led framework. Strong program management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, together with an ability to work effectively and with influence in cross-cultural contexts, with people from a range of diverse backgrounds is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
The role will have two key focus areas
- Program management support, financial oversight and coordination of the new DFAT-funded Indo-Pacific Partnership program in collaboration with local partners in Fiji and PNG, UNAIDS, DFAT and other stakeholders and donors.
Level of effort – 70%
- Development of Health Equity Matters international work, by supporting the preparation for DFAT base accreditation in late 2025; the Global Fund Strategic Initiative on social contracting and community systems strengthening; the International Advisory Committee; and exploring business development opportunities.
Level of effort – 30%.
