About the role
The International Specialist provides a high level of support to the Brisbane based international team and TEQ international teams, working to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the international team’s annual operating plans.
Key duties
- Work with the international team and other internal stakeholders to implement efficient and effective workflows to support marketing activity, compliance and reporting
- Provide administration and coordination support to the international team based in Brisbane and overseas
- Support the international teams in the development and delivery of competitive and innovative activities to grow consumer demand for Queensland.
- Communicate international program activities and provide recommendations to internal and external stakeholders including Regional Tourism Organisations
- Build and maintain effective relationships with other teams in TEQ to ensure international activities are delivered as per required guidelines and processes
- Coordinate the delivery of industry functions and events including securing and liaising with appropriate venues, managing event registrations and RSVPs, preparing and distributing relevant templates, invoicing, developing pre-event materials etc.

For this role, we will consider your:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to proactively multitask and prioritise to meet competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare correspondence including letters, presentations, board paper collation and reports.
- Demonstrated planning and event coordination skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Well-developed understanding of financial and legal contractual requirements related to International operations and ability to work with financial systems.
