ABOUT THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed individual to join the Student Management Team as an International Student Coordinator.
The International Student Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive guidance and support to International students undertaking VET programs and ensure seamless coordination throughout their student lifecycle journey at the Institute.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate communication and liaison between International Office Department and VET Centres
- Collaborate with Program Leaders, Coordinator’s and International Office Department to efficiently coordinate, conduct and monitor enrolments and re-enrolments of International students.
- Establish and maintain effective systems and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to students.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Relevant Degree and relevant experience; or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical and administrative fields; or a suitable combination of relevant qualifications and experience.
- Possess an advanced understanding of the diverse cultural and educational needs of International students, demonstrated through a strong commitment to providing high-quality customer service to a wide range of client groups.
- Proven ability to effectively manage student enquiries, requests and complaints promptly and effectively enhancing the overall student experience.
- Ability to develop and implement processes to monitor and report on International student compliance and progress.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using student management software systems along with strong administrative skills that contribute to the development of effective student management systems.
- Familiarity with National code of practice for providers of education and training to overseas students along with the ability to ensure compliance with CRICOS standards, including student welfare, course delivery and support services.
