ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is responsible for supporting the Institute’s international agent representative network, which is an important recruitment channel of International Students to Chisholm Institute. This position will coordinate a range of activities to support and grow the effectiveness of Chisholm’s international agent network.

In addition, across various markets, the role will have the responsibility to nurture priority articulation partners to develop and recruit cohorts of students to continue heir studies at Chisholm. 

The individual will also be responsible for additional recruitment activities under the direction of the Manager International Student Recruitment and Admissions (ISRA) or nominated delegate.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate, manage and distribute agency contracts and renewals in accordance with ESOS Act and National Code of Practice requirements.
  • Solve complex or technical problems with guidance from the Manager International Student Recruitment and Admissions.
  • Assist with collating and identifying trends in agents’ performance to support agent quality assurance. This may include running reports, surveys and consulting external regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Work towards achieving conversion targets within agreed budget by recruiting International Students in allocated regions.
  • Raise business performance with education agents and pathway partners in agreed countries/territories.
  • Identify, implement, and support activities which develop market and new partnership opportunities
  • Provide ongoing and transparent information about budget expenditure across defined strategies.
  • Evaluate underperforming markets, agents, pathway partners or strategies and design and implement or refine strategic solutions.
  • Provide broad knowledge of competitor activities to drive strategies to grow Institute presence.
  • Assist with the issuance of offers letters, COE (Confirmation of Enrolments), purchase orders, scholarship reports and agent commission reports if required.
  • Contribute to the development, redefinition, and interpretation of policy within the international team.

ABOUT YOU

You will have the following qualifications, skills & experience:

  • A relevant qualification at a minimum of post-secondary level and demonstrated relevant experience in the tertiary education sectors in an area related to International Students.
  • Demonstrated experience working with; or managing International Student recruitment agents.
  • Solid and demonstratable understanding of International Student recruitment and admissions legislation and compliance
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate cross culturally and with colleagues overseas.
  • Exceptional skills in time management and following tasks through to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the Institute.
