Your Role:
As an International Student Programs Co-ordinator, you will work within the International Student Programs team to support the application process for overseas students who want to study at a Queensland state school. Overseas students are provided with the support and encouragement they need to realise their potential in a welcoming, inclusive and accessible learning environment.
The position reports to their Team Leader, International Student Programs, and is located in Brisbane. You will be part of a large and diverse work team.
Responsibilities include:
- providing accurate advice regarding International Student Programs and taking responsibility for accurate completion of work.
- providing data entry, data collection and analysis, word processing and administrative services.
- ensuring compliance with all Commonwealth and State acts relating to the entry and completion of educational programs by overseas students and with policies and guidelines of the department.
- managing the use of a range of government processing system applications at an advanced level to ensure overall quality client services.
- issuing accurate and timely invoices for the various programs offered and maintaining the financial records management systems for the unit, including refund calculations and bank statement reconciliations.
