Role Type: 6 month secondment (Internal)/ Fixed Term (external), Full TimeNote: this role has multiple vacanciesPart of a small team that oversees ANZ global intranet, the primary focus of the Intranet Content Designer/Writer is to make things easier for people to understand and use by enhancing the overall experience that users have when interacting with the Intranet Content. You will coordinate, design, write, and educate business subject matter experts on how to create engaging, high-quality content on ANZ's intranet.If you're someone who understands the central role that purposeful, usable content plays in creating meaningful experiences for people, and experienced in content design, content governance, content strategy, and Information Architecture - we want to talk to you!Role accountabilitiesThis role will:
- Take part in quality control, pair writing and peer reviews.
- Support business stakeholders to develop new content for the intranet, in line with user needs and aligned to ANZ's standards.
- Use our content standards and guidelines to create engaging, well-structured content that meets user needs and business objectives.
- Educate business content owners on Intranet Content best-practice, including accessibility and readability and content management standards.
- Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure deliverables are on time.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of Intranet Content standards, guidelines, engagement and ways of working. This includes coaching the business where their content updates haven't met the content design principles.
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Use a range of M365 technologies to manage your work especially SharePoint Online.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an organised approach.
- A knowledge and demonstrated experience of writing user-focused web content.
- Understanding of web usability, readability and accessibility requirements.
- Able to capture complex ideas and express them in a clear, concise and engaging writing style.
- An understanding of user needs and top tasks, and how to identify them.
- Exemplary stakeholder management and collaboration and influencing skills.
- Able to work at a fast pace and to deadline.
- Experience delivering training, or working in a support role, with the goal of uplifting end user skills and knowledge - would also be desirable.
