About the Role
As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining Warehouse inventory accuracy levels, generating weekly & monthly cycle counts in adherence to inventory accuracy policy.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Maintain accurate records and constantly communicating with Warehouse Manager to make sure items are maintained at proper levels. Perform some physical tasks, such as moving and lifting materials.
Oversees the flow of inventory in and out of the warehouse, which covers a variety of tasks, mainly managing of inventory accuracy levels and storage.
Coordinate the movements of all inbound containers to minimise lead time from Wharf to Warehouse and prioritise containers to meet critical business requirements.
Coordinate the movements between F&P warehouse and overflow storage to minimise stock movements and ensure inventory available for sale.
Plan inventory storage to optimise the warehouse space and provide effective storage of product that will bring efficiencies to the stock put-away and picking processes.
About you
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Previous warehouse/inventory experience.
Good knowledge of ERP systems, such as J.D. Edwards.
Certain level of skill in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Broad knowledge of inventory control processes and KPI’s
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with Warehouse Manager, Inventory Analyst, Logistics Co-ordinator.
