Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and control the inward goods and stock control processes across Brendale and Virginia.
- Implement improvement systems to minimize inventory setbacks and reduce costs.
- Manage communication and logistics for inventory returns.
- Handle the receipt of all Purchase Orders and ensure they match the physical goods received.
- Liaise with Manufacturing and Warehousing on delivery schedules and stock levels.
- Participate in and help achieve stock-take schedules.
- Oversee manufacturing work orders and assist in ordering stock as required.
- Communicate with logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams.
- Liaise and negotiate with sales representatives, suppliers, and customers.
- Accurately enter purchase orders into the system with all relevant information.
- Source and order timber materials from approved suppliers as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team on planned customer deliveries and align schedules accordingly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control and logistics.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with stock management systems and processes.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of sale inventory flow and stock movements.
