To support our Vision 2030 Growth Strategy Mondelēz ANZ has invested in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built, fully automated sorting and retrieval warehouse and distribution centre in Melbourne's West, Truganina.
As a result, we have some very exciting career opportunities, come and play a crucial role in the set-up and operations of our new mega Distribution Centre.
We're currently on the lookout for an Inventory Controller - Pallet Management & Rework to join our team!
This Opportunity is based at our brand-new site in Truganina
How you will contribute:
As an Inventory Controller for Pallet Management & Reworks, you will:
- Track and reconcile all pallet movements on and offsite
- Complete variance investigations, taking appropriate action based on your findings
- Be responsible for pallet stocktakes, ensuring timely return of inventory to the site, with accurate SAP processing.
- Coordinate the repacking of damaged and non-compliant stock
- Complete regular reporting and audits on pallet utilisation & reconciliation, costs, and compliance.
- Implement best practice processes, aimed at reducing pallet-related costs and waste
- Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to streamline the Pallet Management processes.
What you will bring
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with demonstrated knowledge in the inventory space
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with impeccable attention to detail
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Comfortability in working with ambiguity, taking a proactive approach to problem solving
- A safety-first mindset
- A passion for continuous improvement
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (EWM - advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
