A RARE and exciting opportunity arises for an Inventory Coordinator to join our close-knit and dynamic team and contribute to the success of operations at our Eastern Creek Facility.
Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will be responsible for providing oversight of all inbound and outbound elements within the warehouse for the logistic functions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain system governance and data integrity, combined with the provision of functional advice/training as required, to ensure all users use the WMS appropriately and in accordance with prescribed principles.
- Empty Location Audits
- Inventory variance Investigation as required.
- Identify and implement new and innovative approaches to improve business processes and overall efficiencies.
- Oversee cycle counts.
- Monitor productivity and performance to facilitate optimum allocation of resources.
- Inventory Variance Investigation as required.
- Assign Hold Codes / Release SKU(s) / Pallet(s) as required.
- Provide Stock Maintenance Reports to customers as required.
- Weekly Consumables Checks
- Pallet Status monitoring and resolution of issues as required.
- Stock Damage in Warehouse processing
- Ensure ongoing support and liaison with Customers, Inventory Operators and Site Managers
What you can bring to us:
- Experience in a inventory control position, or experience in a similar role, within a medium to large size logistics organisation
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and processes
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience in best practice inventory methodology practices
- A solid understanding of warehouse operations activities and MHE materials handling equipment
- Solid computer skills including Excel and other MS Office suites
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- LF Forklift License (Required)
- LO Order Picker License (Desirable)
