Inventory & Despatch Coordinator

Zoom Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Inventory & Despatch Coordinator who is available for an immediate start working for one of our high-profile cold storage / transport clients based in Bentley.
- Day Shift – 6am-2pm Mon-Fri with possibility of a Saturday shift.

- Ongoing role for the right person
- $39.29 per hour + Penalties and Superannuation
- MUST be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- MUST be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
- MUST have own reliable car and valid Driver’s Licence
The successful applicants will have:
- Administration experience in the Transport and logistics sector is critical
- Excellent customer service skills and natural ease in dealing with people
- Efficient and courteous telephone technique
- Outstanding verbal and written communications/interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Time management skills / able to prioritise workloads
- Microsoft Word Suite essential
- SAP / WMS experience essential
- Fleet allocation and booking experience will be highly preferred
- Forklift Licence (LF)
The key duties of this role include:
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines
- Organize and prioritize daily picking tasks
- Liaise with the representatives from the customer including manufacturing, sales and leadership team
- Contacting end customers to identify and resolve issues
- Computer tasks, SAP & WMS systems
- Pick packing and receiving
- Management of hold & releases, trials and other ad hoc manufacturing projects
- Ensure all pick slips and receipting paperwork is filled in correctly
- Sending and responding to operational emails
- Stock rotation
- Loading trucks
- Ensuring all loads are dispatched on time & find solution for any troubles we come across whilst loading
- Book delivery’s with various customers
- Coordinate in-bound containers with 3rd party carriers
- Prepare reports on stock holdings, accuracy and low code issues
- Carry out cycle counts & investigate discrepancy’s
- Working closely with all Managers, Supervisors and Leading Hands
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
