The Role

We are on the lookout for an Inventory Executive to join a newly formed team within Cartology Operations. The Inventory Executive role is responsible for managing and optimising advertising inventory packages across all Cartology channels.

This role will partner with Sales, Product and Operations teams to ensure sales processes are implemented so all inventory has the best chance of being sold.

In addition you will be responsible for:
  • Being the go-to contact within Cartology for guidance on best practice for inventory reservation policies and placeholder management
  • Proactively gaining regular feedback from the Sales and Product teams to support Inventory initiatives and strategies
  • Supporting the Marketing team with key event Inventory packaging
  • Partnering with Operations to secure and release placeholders, ensuring all inventory has the best chance of being sold
  • Ensuring Inventory is available and processes are adhered to and effective
  • Supporting the wider Inventory team with product catalogue, system and package management
  • Proactively searching for process improvements and suggesting solutions
About You

To be a successful Inventory Executive, you will be a logical thinker, with the ability to overcome challenges and be solutions focused to provide mutually beneficial outcomes for both Cartology and our clients and agencies.

You will have strong interpersonal skills with proven success in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Essential
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships and be a conduit between multiple internal stakeholders including sales, operations and product
  • Track record of success in improving operations, delivery and/or process outcomes
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Sound organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high quality of work
Desirable
  • Experience in Inventory, Operations or Trading related roles
  • Previous experience in out of home and/or digital media
  • Understanding of retail store environments
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Able to consider initiatives from a business perspective as well as an operational perspective
