Reporting into the Logistics Site Manager Southern, you will manage the finished goods inventory at the site and all processes around inventory movements. Additionally, you will Identify efficiencies in inventory processes with a continual improvement mind set.
Key responsibilities
The scope of the role includes the management of functions including safety, warehouse management, inventory, customer service and chain of responsibility.
- Manage stock takes are completed and discrepancies are investigated in a timely manner
- Engage key stakeholders in the business to ensure a productive, customer-oriented relationship and drive excellence in the Supply Chain strategy
- Ensure management of returnable assets at site to support production plan
- Analysis of all KPIs within logistics to identify areas of opportunity to improve customer service
- Drive the use of problem-solving tools to identify and improve inventory processes
- Improve organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture
- Act as 2IC for the Logistics department at Abbotsford in the absence of the Logistics Manager, including indirectly managing a team of 6 team Leaders and 52 operators
- Contribute to deliver engagement plan for logistics at Abbotsford
About You
- Ideally similar experience and demonstrated achievement of improvement & change within an FMCG or 3PL warehousing/distribution environment
- SAP WMS experience highly regarded. Ex
- Degree qualifications in Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline
- Demonstrated leadership experience / consultation process
- Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication, influencing and change management skills
