The Role
As an Inventory & Supply Chain Manager at Neuron, you will play a critical role in managing inventory accuracy globally, while also overseeing the Logistics and Supply Team. In addition to demand planning, you will be responsible for leading our Supply & Logistics team, who are responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, coordinating production arrangements, and driving cross-functional collaboration to reduce demand-supply gaps.
What You’ll Do
- Actively manage, set up, and participate in the company's short-term and long-term Operation Planning (S&OP) process.
- Lead Neuron's demand planning and replenishment process for Finished Goods, Spare Parts, and Batteries, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather market intelligence and define product consumption/replenishment rates and SKU management for accurate forecasting.
- Drive cross-functional discussions with Supply Planning, Logistics, Operations teams, Finance, and suppliers to minimise demand-supply gaps and ensure timely production and delivery.
- Design, implement and manage a best-practice IMS process in place across our cities to help ensure strong levels of inventory and consumption accuracy
- Determine optimal inventory levels and develop purchasing strategies to prevent stockouts and reduce wastage, considering resource and minimum order quantity (MOQ) constraints.
- Collaborate closely with Operations teams, Finance, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication regarding delivery schedules, production arrangements, and other logistics-related matters.
- Conduct variance analysis to manage Forecast vs Actuals, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance forecast accuracy for all SKUs.
What You'll Need
- At least 7-9+ years of relevant operational business demand/supply planning and IMS experience.
- Experience leading a team of Supply Chain and logistics professionals
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Netsuite)
- Quantitative background and abilities; Strong analytical, problem solving and logic skills.
- Able to remain focused and work efficiently under pressure while handling multiple tasks
- Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
- A persistent attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of excel is a must
- Self-motivated, takes ownership of projects, and proactively works on things that need to be done in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
- A keen interest in shared mobility operations and a growth mindset is essential to this role.
- Must be fluent in mandarin and have strong english speaking skills
