This is a position for a dynamic Investment Administrator looking to take the next step in their career with a well-established, supportive, and high performing international investment firm.You will be supporting senior stakeholders to oversee fund administration and operations. In this versatile role, you will be liaising with multiple stakeholders and covering a range of responsibilities including, servicing and supervising a fund by processing and reporting the financial paperwork, ensuring that clients have up-to-date information on their fund's investment performance and make certain the funds comply with all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.This position is ideally suited to someone who is looking for a Part time opportunity (either 3-4 days per week, or condensed hours). But could be adjusted to reflect full time hours for the right candidate.Your key responsibilities include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the funds;
- Prepare periodic reports, including performance, valuation and regulatory reports for the funds;
- Maintain up-to-date reconciliations of invested funds, forward estimates of fund commitments and remaining uncommitted funds;
- Manage investor base, including investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions as well as issuance of shareholder statements;
- Ensure all investment documentation, including investment due diligence files, meet independent audit scrutiny from internal or external stakeholders;
- Prepare regular and ad hoc Board reports relevant to the financial status and performance of the funds as well as any regulatory or other matters requiring Board attention;
- Calculating and processing distribution payments, management and performance fee calculations;
- Interpret Trust Deeds and Investment Memorandums in order to administer each fund competently and accurately;
- Ensure compliance, monitoring and reporting of anti-money laundering obligations;
- Co-ordinating with lawyers/consultants on establishing Fund documents;
- Supervision of investor applications to ensure compliance with AFSL/Trust Deed/IM; AND
- Assisting in business development including, but not limited to, marketing materials, maintaining contact lists (local and overseas).
- 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry in fund operations and administration;
- Excellent knowledge of the legal and compliance requirements applicable to Australian Financial Services License holders in the Funds management;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills;
- Exceptional time management skills to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy;
- Highly organised and able to prioritise and multitask;
- Proactive, self-motivated and display initiative;
- Advanced MS Office skills; AND
- Relevant post-graduate qualification is desirable.
