About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager for our QLD region who will be based in our venues and oversee operations across multiple venues throughout Greater Brisbane Region, The Gold Coast, Darling Downs and Northern Queensland Region. Responsible for 10 Venues and numerous satellites and partner locations, your focus will be to meet revenue and growth targets, develop and maintain an exceptional service team and ensure all venues meet and exceed customer expectations, develop their core business and produce efficiencies. There is a significant amount of intrastate travel and some interstate travel required.
The Regional Manager will:
- Work in the venues
- Optimise and oversee venue operations to ensure efficiency across the areas of amusement machines, food & beverage and guest experience
- Motivate a team of Venue Managers and employees towards effective teamwork and goal achievement
- Optimise brand strategies in group bookings and parties
- Undertake sound financial management to ensure venues are profitable
- Ensure guest safety and compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines
- Resolve problems by providing creative and practical solutions
- Run a safe, FUN and friendly work environment
- Communicate to senior executives on progress and issues
About You:
The successful applicant will be passionate, have exceptional interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise, who can work autonomously without distractions to achieve the KPI’s in the agreed timeframes. You will have good leadership skills, high level of attention to detail and experience managing a portfolio of venues. Your unwavering commitment to your teams ongoing development and an “Above the line” approach are the keys to your success!
To be successful in this role, you will have-
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Regional Manager, Area Manager, Venue Manager or similar senior managerial experience.
- Amusement machine operations or the passion to rapidly learn the ropes of this field
- Good understanding and vast experience in Food & Beverage operations
- Able to travel and visit multiple venues whilst working a variety of shifts including weekends
- A Proactive, can do attitude
- Possess boundless energy, passion and drive whilst also being self-motivated
- Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
- Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for continued success
- Significant experience in building, leading and engaging teams to consistently reach venue goals and targets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Reliable work ethic with exceptional attention to detail
- A positive approach with strong time management and prioritising skills
