Form of workCoolabah Turf is an award winning, world-class instant turf production and distribution company, currently seeking an Irrigation Manager to join our amazing Echuca based team.
We seek an experienced hands-on Manager with proven lateral and pivot irrigation experience. Duties include planning and managing irrigation across our farm, including scheduling, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the farm’s irrigation infrastructure. Knowledge of irrigation standards and practices, monitoring and management of soil moisture and provide general farm assistance where required.
The successful applicant must demonstrate:
- Experience and knowledge of horticultural irrigation requirements
- IT skills to remote operate and program irrigation schedules via programs and apps
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Chemical handling and forklift license (desirable)
You will be required to work a minimum of 38 hours per week with additional hours in peak seasons, including rostered weekend work. Vehicle supplied and option of on farm accommodation.
Remuneration will be in-line with the skills possessed by the successful applicant.
