The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking the services of suitably qualified Groundwater Specialist to oversee a range of projects aimed at understanding current and emerging threats to the environment from salinity impacts within the Mallee region.
The successful candidate will work with the existing Salinity and Irrigation team to build sound knowledge in this area, and assist with generating and project managing innovative and impactful developments.
More specifically, you will be involved in works and measures to generate salinity credits, as well as implementation of the salinity management policy and ensuring compliance with the Mallee region’s monitoring and reporting obligations.
What we are looking for:
- A highly organised individual who is driven by their love of the landscape. This person will become a key part of our Salinity and Irrigation team and offer valuable insights.
- Degree in Geology, Environmental Management, or Science discipline with a post graduate qualification in Groundwater Hydrogeology.
- Experience within groundwater modelling/investigation is an advantage.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.
