Requisition ID: REQ495601Applications Close: 25th June 2024..This is a temporary part time 28 hours per week position until 30th June 2026 with the possibility of an extension subject to funding.What you'll be doingThe Rural, Regional and Remote Clinical Trial Enabling Program (R3-CTEP) aims to improve equity of access to Clinical Trials for patients living in rural, regional and remote communities. The R3-CTEP Clinical Trials Pharmacist will be responsible for the provision and coordination of pharmacy services that align to, and support the delivery of, the objectives of the R3-CTEP program at ISLHD. This will include development of Standard Operating Procedures and processes that support safe and compliant delivery of Clinical Trials of investigational medicinal products (IMP). - Demonstrated high level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist, including advanced level knowledge of therapeutics (e.g. cardiology, renal, oncology), relevant legislation and ability to apply these skills in practice.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, manage and lead Clinical Trial pharmacy services (e.g. setting up, operating, staff training, dispensing, billing and closing trials) across a complex clinical environment that interfaces with a multi-disciplinary team and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of aseptic manufacturing aligned with national standards and regulations for compounding injectable products.
- High level communication skills that include the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to the professional development of Clinical Trials pharmacy.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement activities that support pharmacy or Clinical Trial practices.
