About the Role
As an IT Assurance Manager within our Services & Operations division, you'll play a pivotal role in the execution of our audit services delivery to global clients and nurturing our team's growth. Under the guidance of our Senior Managers, this role contributes significantly to AssuranceLab's rapid expansion in both existing and new service areas, including ESG assurance and various information security standards like CSA Star, CPS 234, ISO 27001.
We are looking for purpose-driven and passionate leader to nurture our team culture,
and help us build our business. Success in this role will see you supporting our Senior Consultants through complex client engagements, reviewing audit files and ensuring quality reports are provided. You will ensure quality is upheld through client service activities. In addition to mentoring our consultants, you will have the opportunity to provide input on our services strategy, and engagement planning for AssuranceLab's service offerings with your background and areas of SME.

What You'll Be Doing
Operational Execution & Team Support
- Implement strategic plans guided by the Senior Manager, ensuring day-to-day operational excellence in service delivery.
- Support the Senior Manager in leading and guiding the team towards achieving Key Results.
- Coordinate projects within the team, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and alignment with AssuranceLab OKRs.
- Streamline operational processes in collaboration with the Senior Manager to enhance team efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and clear channels of information.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster transformational relationships.
- Assist in fostering a culture of growth and improvement within the team, aligning with the company's values under the Senior Manager's guidance.
- Support team members' development through guidance and assistance in alignment with AssuranceLab's performance and development philosophy.
- Degree in a relevant business-related discipline.
- Minimum of 4+ years in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CISA, ISACA, CISM. Membership in a relevant professional body is preferred.
- Extensive experience in IT Audit/Assurance/Cyber including corporate governance, risk and compliance frameworks, business process improvement, compliance management, and fraud control.
- Strong skills in data analytics, continuous auditing, and assurance mapping.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in our tech stack - Google Suite, Microsoft 365, ClickUp, Slack
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Capability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements.
- Alignment with AssuranceLab's values and ability to positively represent AssuranceLab
- Willing to have a go with courage and candidness.
