Our Commodities and Global Markets business combines specialist expertise, risk and capital solutions to help our clients realise opportunities in global markets including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities and technology, media and telecoms. The Business Operational Risk Management team play a key role in continuously improving our processes, controls and operational risk profile across our businesses globally.
What role will you play?
As the Business Operational Risk Management Control Assurance Lead, you will be owning and co-ordinating the assurance plan, including maintenance of test plans, reporting and hosting our Commodities and Global Markets assurance forum. You’ll be creating an assurance virtual practice to drive consistency and providing training to the team, while driving automation and continuous (as opposed to cyclical) assurance and overseeing the performance of division wide controls.
You will be managing the end to end approach to assurance and the resource demand with the Regional Business Operational Risk Management Leads, business stakeholders and wider Risk and Compliance teams.
What you offer
- 6+ years’ experience in audit, assurance, operational risk, and/or compliance
- Knowledge and demonstratable experience within Financial Services
- A demonstrated risk and continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to pivot based on new priorities
- Front office or Line 1 Risk experience is advantageous.
