It Business Analyst

At Volvo Group Australia, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. As an IT Business Analyst in the Digital & IT team, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Facilitating modelling and analysis of business processes and operations
• Designing concepts for various products
• Taking the lead in Business Analyst activities for the solutions in scope
• Identifying risks regarding the functional solution from a BA perspective, and propose changes when necessary
• Executing training together with the process and solution key users, and Business Process Developer
• Driving and coordinating small activities and projects delivered locally (but may be in collaboration with the Global IT team)

This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract, working alongside two other Business Analysts and reporting to the Business Solutions Manager. The Business Analysts are part of the greater Business Solutions team of 9, including a Data Analyst, Business Systems Specialists and Master Data Specialists. The Business Solutions team are a good-humoured and supportive group, who keep their team strong with regular lunches and bonding activities.

• A degree or qualification in IT (or related field)
• At least 12 months of working experience in a Business Analyst role
• Proven experience working with business process modelling tools
• Excellent communication skills and enjoy a customer facing role
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• A true team player attitude, willing to help out your team when needed
