An opportunity exists for a Technical Business Analyst to be responsible and accountable for liaising with key Stakeholders to lead Business Analyst activities required to support Architecture and Design activities.
Responsibilities:
- As the Technical Business Analyst you will be responsible for delivering IT enabled projects associated with the delivery of the network modernisation program. You will be required to assist with producing deliverables which adhere to the organisations frameworks and standards.
- You will apply contemporary Business Analysis and organisational change practices when dealing with stakeholders, such as;
- Requirements elicitation, business process mapping and / or stakeholder engagement workshops
- Communicating all project risks, issues, and dependencies in an effective and collaborative manner
- Maintaining relationships with key technical and business stakeholders
- Stakeholder engagement for the program to understand the business needs as they relate to the network and business transformation.
- Application of a structured business analysis, process mapping and reporting methodology to support change initiatives.
- Effective documentation and presentation of business analysis outcomes and artefacts
- Effective data management and capture techniques in compliance with standards and reporting tools/software
- Coach and mentor, the Programme and Project support staff on best practice business analysis techniques
- Maintain a strong stakeholder focus by coordinating and conducting required workshop and elicitation sessions (including) attending meetings as required
- Establish and maintain an effective engagement practices for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess project artefacts to prevent the release of commercially sensitive information
- Assess service delivery by third party providers to ensure value for money and quality performance.
Skill set required:
- Must be Australian citizen and have the ability to obtain an Security Clearance.
- Demonstrable experience regarding system of systems thinking and analytical problem solving.
- Experience in the analysis and reporting of system and business requirements including documenting financial, technical, and business risk.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with ICT and business senior executives, internal and external stakeholders and to escalate issues appropriately.
- Demonstratable experience with regard to interpersonal, consultative, organisational and facilitation skills
- Experience working across geologically diverse project teams.
