About our opportunity:
We are seeking for an experienced ICT Systems Administrator to join our Sydney team!
What you'll be responsible for:
Administration and management of support for Microsoft 365 environment, Azure infrastructure, Power BI, SharePoint, Xero, SimPro, Smartsheets, and Elmo HR.
Management of third-party providers for support of users, hardware, software, email, webservices and IT projects to ensure high levels of system performance, security, and availability.
Procurement and provisioning of IT assets and services - such as laptops, software, licenses, phone handsets, tablets, broadband and mobile accounts.
Direct provision of on-site and remote technical support for IT issues.
Development of Power BI reports and management of appropriate sharing for various business analytics use cases.
Design, implementation, and management of information protection and security controls, as well as disaster recovery protocols across the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with management and users to define business requirements for systems development projects.
Preparation of business cases and project plans for the implementation of the latest technology within the organisation.
Conduct workshops to train employees on the efficient use of systems and promote internal adoption of process improvement, digital transformation, and security awareness.
Continual maintenance and verification of active users, licenses, and assets registers.
Apply online if you have:
Strong experience as a Systems Administrator
Preferably with experience in the following: Microsoft 365, Azure Infrastructure, SharePoint, SimPro, ELMO HR, Smartsheets and Xero.
Has a degree or certification in IT or Computer Engineering
Knowledgeable in backup and security practices
Ability to problem solve and complete work within a timely manner.
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal communication for providing technical support and documentation of systems maintenance.
Exceptional attention to detail
‘Can do’ attitude.
Initiative to find solutions and resolve problems.
A solid understanding of computers, electronics, and systems (hardware & software)
Ability to coordinate with others.
