We currently have an opportunity available for a full time IT Business Analyst to join our growing business.
Reporting to the Group Executive - IT and working on the very latest technology, you will responsible for supporting all functions of business analysis and project delivery. This includes gathering information, documenting requirements, stakeholder consultation, and actively participating in the development, implementation, testing and support of IT systems and applications to meet business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain effective relationships and communication with stakeholders.
- Effectively elicit and document requirements.
- Design and document business processes to suit the requirements.
- Support the creation of required specifications detailing the design systems.
- Map and document current and future state business processes.
- Elicit and write high quality user stories and acceptance criteria for the Development Team.
- Maintain and update the Project Backlog and any documentation needed to support project delivery.
- Assist with the design and delivery of technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the business.
- Develop reporting and business intelligence systems.
- Identify and mitigate technical and project delivery risks.
Essential skills and experience
- 2+ years experience working in a Business Analyst role.
- Appropriate diploma or degree qualification or verifiable industry experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, software development practices and principles, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in CRM and/or ERP upgrade, integration, rollout and development. Cloud migrations and cybersecurity experience will be an advantage.
- Experienced and proficient with a range of IT systems and tools such as Microsoft Office, Confluence, Jira, Salesforce.
- Experience in and understanding of Agile principles and ideally direct project experience delivering quality outcomes as part of an Agile team.
