IT Change and Release Manager - Canberra/Adelaide

Cleared are currently supporting our client a major Australian listed engineering company, who are looking for IT Change and Release Manager to work on a major defence project!

This opportunity is Canberra based & requires a AGSVA Baseline or above Security Clearence!

As the custodian of the Change and Release Management process within the Business Technology Support (BTS) team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the IT Change Calendar, overseeing changes initiated by the business or product vendors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, prioritize, authorize, implement, test, document, and communicate changes effectively.
• Establish and manage release processes across development, test, and production environments.
• Govern the Change and Release management lifecycle, ensuring coordination across various contracts.
• Lead the assessment, analysis, planning, and design of releases.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining Change and Release Management processes.
• In-depth understanding of Change & Release Management frameworks and best practices.
• Strong coordination and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to implement and oversee release processes in diverse environments.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps or JIRA, with knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Expertise in IT service management (ITSM) and software release management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly regarded.
• Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology preferred; ITIL certification is essential.
• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance.
