Our Federal Government Agency seeks to engage an IT Change Manager with excellent communications skills and demonstrated experience in IT change for an IT modernisation project.Responsibilities:
- Provide change management expertise to IT and business areas.
- Facilitate identification of change impacts; develop plans & actions to mitigate the impact of change on internal and external stakeholders.
- Support senior staff, change leaders & sponsors to champion and communicate the anticipated changes.
- Develop and maintain key collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Make and communicate decisions using good judgement, expertise and knowledge, governed by legislation, regulations, best practice principles / relevant operating instructions and procedures.
- Develop, implement and deliver multi-channel, user-centred change communication strategies, transition materials and activity plans
- Design and deliver change communication needs discovery sessions and analyse the change communication needs. Create, edit and refine change communication materials
- Understand Agile project delivery framework and have experience in managing IT change within an Agile project or Program.
- Experience in a similar role in a complex IT environment operating in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with Program Managers and Product Owners translating technical requirements into business processes.
- Capability to develop reports/ dashboards
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Experience using change methodology, Prosci.
