It Change Manager

Calling all IT Change Managers!
***ACT, QLD, SA, VIC locations – Australian citizenship required***We are seeking an IT Change Manager to assist with complex IT modernization tasks within a leading government agency’s transformation group. The successful candidate will bring excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in IT change management to support significant modernization efforts. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to manage the multifaceted aspects of IT change, ensuring alignment with the organization’s change management framework and contributing to the overall transformation goals.Key Duties:

• Deliver change management for IT modernization projects, managing multiple interdependencies and ensuring alignment with the organization’s change management framework.
• Facilitate the identification of change impacts across IT and business areas, developing plans to mitigate these impacts effectively.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, responding to needs and expectations, and supporting change leaders and sponsors.
• Create and implement multi-channel, user-centered change communication strategies and materials to support the transformation narrative and ensure clear, effective dissemination of change-related information.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in managing IT change within an Agile project or program, with a deep understanding of Agile project delivery frameworks.
• Demonstrated capability in working within complex IT environments and multidisciplinary teams, translating technical requirements into clear business processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Experience with specific change management methodologies (preferably Prosci), and the ability to develop reports/dashboards in system-specific platforms.
