Yumba Bimbi Support Services is a NDIS registered organisation in Central QLD. We are looking for an ITC Officer to join our ever-growing team
About the role
- The IT & Communication Officer is responsible for troubleshooting computer issues and providing technical support to the organisation, employees, clients, and other system users. In particular, providing close support to the ITC Coordinator. The key objective of this role is to assist Yumba Bimbi Support Services to achieve its mission.
- The IT & Communication Officer’s duties may vary depending on the specific needs of the department and customers. Common day to day duties of the position may include (but are not limited to):
- Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person.
- Responsible for troubleshooting computer issues and making sure users have full access to the software they use to perform tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Install, format, and maintain desktop and laptop computers.
- Run repairs and replacements on computer hardware.
- Provide training to staff as required.
About You
- High level of problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work flexibly and adaptively and meet deadlines.
- High level communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of confidentiality, tact, discretion, initiative and sound judgement.
- Attention to detail and efficient time management.
- Current and valid Queensland driver’s license.
- Working with Children check – blue card (or ability to obtain one).
- Criminal History Screening – yellow card (or ability to obtain one).
- Current and full First Aid and CPR certificate (or ability to obtain one).
- Understanding and acceptance of the rights of people with a disability.
- Understanding issues relevant to people living with support needs associated with disability.
