Position Overview
The IT Contractor Recruiter is a key member of our recruitment team, responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing IT contractors to meet the specific needs of our clients. This role demands a high level of diligence, excellent communication skills, and the bility to work efficiently under pressure. The recruiter will utilise various tools and strategies to attract top talent and maintain a robust pipeline of IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities
· Talent Sourcing: Proactively search for potential candidates using a variety of tools including, LinkedIn, ATS, and other recruitment platforms. Develop and maintain a talent pool of IT contractors for quick placement.
· Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screening of candidates to assess their skills, experience, and fit for client projects. This includes reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and evaluating technical skills.
· Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their specific IT contractor needs, including technical requirements, project duration, and team dynamics. Provide regular updates to clients on the recruitment process and candidate pipeline.
· Interview Coordination: Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and clients, including scheduling, providing interview preparation materials to candidates, and gathering feedback from both parties post-interivew.
· Compliance and Onboarding: Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including contract negotiation, documentation, and integration into client projects.
· Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, client requirements, and placements within our ATS, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
· Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends and developments in the IT contracting sector. Provide insights and advice to both clients and candidates on market conditions, salary benchmarks, and skill demand.
· Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, including the number of placements, candidate pipeline status, and client feedback, contributing to continuous improvement of the recruitment process.
Required Skills and Experience
· Recruitment Experience: Proven experience in recruitment, specifically within the IT or technology sector. Familiarity with IT contractor roles and industry standards.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both candidates and clients.
· Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using recruitment software, Microsoft O365, and other technology tools to streamline the recruitment process.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop effective solutions rapidly. A proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and improving processes.
Working Conditions
· The IT Contractor Recruiter will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate client and candidate schedules across different time zones.
· This position may involve a mix of in-office and remote work, depending on business needs and current health guidelines.
