About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Customer Service professional, to lead a tight-knit and service-oriented team, in the support and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure. Reporting to the regional IT Manager, you will lead the delivery of first and second level IT operation support services, ensuring the availability and continuity of software and hardware assets to the business customers.
The remit of this role is challenging and diverse. Day-to-day your work will revolve around steward the customer IT Customer Operations team in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the company's IT assets, in accordance with internal processes, procedures and industry best practice protocols.
You will liaise closely with various business stakeholders to understand their technical needs, suggest approaches and leverage your team to implement solutions with speed and efficiency.
About you
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Expert skills in providing IT support in complex and geographically distributed environments.
- Experience with utilising and managing ticketing systems for effective reporting
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Acting as an escalation point for unresolved, bespoke or complex support requests
- Mentoring and team leadership experience
- Ability to travel interstate on an as-needed basis
- Ability to analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities and execute successful change management activities.
