We are looking for the Account Manager to create and maintain long-term trust relationships. This position would suit an IT Recruitment Consultant that is looking to take the next step in their career into IT Services.

THE ROLE
We are seeking an energetic Account Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of impressive established clients. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the relationship for all clients in your portfolio. You will provide ongoing service understanding the client’s needs throughout Projects, always ensuring they have the right Consultants for each SOW. Other responsibilities include advising the end client on budgets for renewing Consultants, the extension of SOW’s and negotiating all MSA’s identifying opportunities to up sell additional Services and Products.
  
This is both a Client Relationship and sales type role, ideal for a candidate that has had previous experience in Account Management within IT recruitment or someone wanting a change from a Recruitment Consultant who has been working in a 360 environment within a Technology vertical for the last 3 years and is looking to move into a Services role. This job is based in Melbourne, but travel may be required.
  
REPORTING TO A DIRECTOR, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Proactively calling existing clients to maintain & build relationships within the company
  • Expanding our contacts beyond existing sources and developing a tailored value proposition across BI and Analytics and other verticals within an organisation
  • Building relationships, creating a deeper network inside client organisations with consistent and proactive dialogue with multiple decision makers
  • Proactively promoting available Consultant awareness by identifying their main skill set ensuring value is received, both via Telephone and face to face (This also includes presentations and market advice to various key Managers)
  • Dealing with incoming queries, issues and the day to day needs of your clients as they arise
  • Researching and understanding each client’s business to identify new opportunities and IM Projects coming up
  • Leverage existing relationships to grow GP across your portfolio
  
  AS THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE, YOU WILL HAVE:
  • Previous experience in an IT Environment, performing a similar role
  • Previous experience/knowledge of Data and Analytics (Not Essential)
  • Excellent phone and email communication skills
  • Ability to speak with clients across a variety of industries and backgrounds
  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction
  • Confidence in your negotiation, numeracy and diplomacy skills
  • The ability to be a team player who can work with colleagues and other partners to achieve results
  • The ability to also work autonomously
  • Professional presentation for face to face meetings and have the ability to use that time to sell or gather important information.
