The Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation and clinical quality and safety. Our focus is on putting data and technology safely to work for patients, consumers and the health care professionals who look after them.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is plan and organise IT training sessions for all Agency staff working with internal and external training providers to develop a curriculum of courses. You will develop and improve IT and Digital Literacy packages for staff.
In an initial 4-month period the successful candidate will shape and develop the future landscape and structure of Digital Literacy within the Australian Digital Health Agency. There may be an opportunity for this role to be extended.
Skills and Experience
• Leadership and Accountability – With the support of your team you will be responsible for setting up a catalogue of IT Digital Literacy courses and may be required to deliver some of the training. You will also be responsible for developing or sourcing user guides for a range of Agency Corporate IT systems.
• Management Diversity and Span – Working closely with leaders, training providers, and internal teams you have the skills to manage work across varied divisions and stakeholders
• Job Context and Environment – Awareness of long-term goals of Agency and broader work environment as it impacts IT Digital Literacy in the short to long term.
• Independence and decision-making – You will have guidance and support while making decisions with good judgement and within the best practice principles of the Agency’s operating instructions and procedures.
• Stakeholder Management – Engaging with stakeholders and anticipating needs to come up with effective solutions.
Qualifications
• Qualification in areas of training and or learning and development highly regarded.
• Previous experience in a similar role highly regarded

Eligibility
• Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
• Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.

Salary: $104,810 - $118,244 (including superannuation 15.4%).
