It Director

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the IT program across our technology sector. As an integral part of our IT leadership team, and reporting directly to the head of IT.

Taking full accountability of the IT solutions and services we provide to our customer's; this role will not only need to define a strong vision for the IT road-map - but use a range of skills and experience to ensure it is delivered in an efficient and effective manner. Balancing both strategic and technical focuses.

Description

• Leading and developing a team of IT professionals and creating a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, customer centricity and innovation.
• Building trusted relationships with employees and customers across our business, including partnering closely with senior management stakeholders
• Collaboratively defining strategic sector roadmaps that will drive efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation into the business, and that will delight our customers.
• Working closely with IT and operations subject matter experts on the effective design and implementation of highly complex solutions
• As part of the country IT leadership team, contributing to the country and cluster IT strategy and focus
• The effective management of the sector IT cost portfolio, ensuring that all IT costs deliver an effective return on investment.
• Collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to leverage global subject matter expertise and strength.
• Ensuring the IT team deliver against all key targets and metrics defined to enable success.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in IT management at a senior level within a complex, service-related business's
• Previous experience within a logistics or supply chain environment
• Experience in strategic planning and a demonstrated record of driving continuous Improvement and delivering results.
• Commercial acumen with an ability to manage a multi layered and complex P&L with a focus on growth.
• Innovative and forward-thinking leader who drives an engaging high-performance culture.
• Proven experience managing both operational and project teams within an enterprise environment.
• Previous experience within a large enterprise business would be highly desired.
