Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
This Australian manufacturing organisation is currently undergoing a major Information Technology upgrade. The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is a crucial role in the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting networked computer systems, coordinating day-to-day activities related to deployment and support, and will contribute to security focused projects to ensure the secure and efficient operation of the SAP S/4HANA systems
Responsibilities
- Plan, configure, and install hardware and software systems tailored to the SAP S/4 HANA system.
- Maintain network infrastructure to support the efficient operation of the SAP system
- System performance testing
- Provide ongoing technical support for the SAP S/4 HANA related EUC and Infrastructure
- Monitor and analyse system performance, with a focus on the SAP related hardware and networked systems to ensure optimal operations.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, project team members and business end users to identify areas for improvement in the SAP system
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years experience in IT, specifically in full stack infrastructure and preferably with SAP S/4HANA system experience
- Strong Network & Window Server Management experience
- Experience with Hypervisor (ESX) management
- SCCM/Azure Cloud/SaaS experience, preferably with SAP S/4HANA
- Ability to identify and eliminate barriers to solution adoption, with a focus on the SAP S/4HANA system
Benefits
- Daily rate contract $650 - $750 per day depending on experience
- Hybrid working options available. Must be able to go on-site in Sydney at least a couple times per week
