We are looking for the right individual to join our expanding, dynamic helpdesk team.
The position is a full time L1 Help Desk Tech and is s a great opportunity to join a well established team and grow with in a local, innovative and very busy MSP servicing our local businesses.
What’s the role
We are currently seeking a Help Desk Tech to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person wanting to progress a career in Business Technology in an MSP servicing a wide range of clients.
This vacancy is not suitable for Remote work.
The Helpdesk Team manages job tickets, prompt triage & follow-up, technical assistance and support with project work for contract clients. The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong technical knowledge, fault diagnosis, and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent customer service abilities. A key aspect of this role is providing support for Windows and Microsoft 365; therefore, experience or industry qualifications in these areas are highly desirable. Additional responsibilities include handling client hardware and software setups, resolving issues, auditing and managing license renewals, and ensuring tickets are closed with thorough documentation updates.
Accountability & Responsibilities of the role:
- Providing technical assistance to clients and customers
- Helping clients and customers identify technical issues
- Quickly troubleshooting minor IT issues
- Monitor internal diagnostic tools to sustain efficient workflows
- Escalating job tickets to higher levels of IT support if required
- Providing remote support
- Completing administrative level support duties
Who you are:
- At least 2 years experience in a Helpdesk/ Information Technology environment
- Experience in IT Helpdesk Administration would be highly regarded
- Industry qualifications would be highly regarded
- Microsoft 365 administration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive & Proactive with good organizational skills
- Highly organized with the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Curious - have a continual improvement mindset with the ability to challenge norms and seek constant process improvement
