The Role
MG's Australian head office is located in North Sydney and is the corporate hub for our Australian and New Zealand operation. Freshly renovated and brand new, with an outdoor area overlooking Sydney Harbour to sit outdoors and either work, eat lunch or enjoy your morning coffee.
As the ANZ IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our local IT systems and supporting our user base. You will do this locally while liaising with our company headquarters IT department in Shanghai.
You will play a vital role in driving the planning, development, and implementation of our systems and supporting our digital platforms to ensure the growth and success of our organization in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the local network architecture and infrastructure, including data servers, network devices, etc.
- Providing user support, resolving technical issues, and organizing training activities to ensure proficiency in using various systems and application.
- Manage the IT delivery process over the product life cycle including build, user acceptance testing, migration, go-live and post go-live.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining systems and applications, ensuring their effective operation, and meeting the business requirements of each system.
- Responsible for formulating and implementing data security and backup strategies, ensuring the security and recoverability of data.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including standard operating processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with our internal staff to analyse business requirements, provide functional and business analysis including process mapping, requirements gathering, scoping and estimation.
- Providing guidance and support to other IT support members
- Setting performance goals for team members and evaluating their progress.
- Identifying training needs for team members
- Ensuring that the teams work is aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
About you
- Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Over 5 years of IT leadership experience, including managing technical support. IT Administration, and IT infrastructure.
- Abilities in IT Admin, strategic planning, project management, and risk management.
- In-depth understanding and experience in IT security.
- Good communication and leadership skills, capable of building good relationships with other departments.
- Experience and skills in team management and development, able to motivate and manage team members.
