IT Manager – Permanent full-time, hybrid work
Annecto’s origins trace back to the 1950s, when a group of parents from the Western suburbs of Melbourne decided to create their own safe spaces for their children living with disability. Over the years, Annecto has continued to grow and develop its services in disability and aged care, leading the way with in-home services and independent living. Today, Annecto works across multiple regions and states of Australia and works closely with communities across Victoria, NSW, ACT and Queensland. Reporting to the CFO, the IT Manager oversees the organisation’s information systems, applications support, infrastructure and technology strategy, aligning with Annecto’s business strategy. Managing a small internal IT team of 3, the position will be responsible for acceleration and optimisation of IT systems, applications, processes and expenditure.
As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the relationship with our Managed Service Provider, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services and support to our organization. You will serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related matters, managing the partnership, and driving collaboration between internal stakeholders and the MSP. This role requires strong communication skills, vendor management expertise, and a deep understanding of IT service delivery.
The IT Manager will possess the ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Key Selection Criteria (for full criteria, see Position Description)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years in a similar IT Management role, including leading a team
- Experience overseeing application support services in a complex IT environment will be desirable
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows desktop platforms and servers, virtualization and Microsoft cloud technologies (Windows Azure, Office 365) and telecommunication
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making
- Solid understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Project management experience, with proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Alignment with the values, vision and principles of Annecto and an interest in the work that we do
