As such, we have a newly created role for an IT Manager reporting to the Chief Information Officer. The chosen candidate will provide End-To-End support in managing IT for all our business operations and employees.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage.
- Provide technical support for staff, resolving hardware/software issues.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect IT assets and data.
- Perform backups and DRM.
- Monitor system performance and optimize resources for efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and generate reports on system status.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Fulfill impromptu administration requests from management.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture and/or Digital Business Transformation, or a related field or, 10 years’ experience in Commercial Systems Management
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Microsoft server infrastructure and maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Active Directory and Domain Services.
- Minimum 5 years' in a Management role.
- Demonstrated expertise in administering and maintaining an organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Ability to implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's systems and data.
- Experience with security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and external vendors.
- Experience managing IT projects from planning to execution, including resource allocation and timeline management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to address user inquiries and technical support requests promptly and professionally.
- Must have a current and valid C class drivers license.
You will have knowledge and/or expertise in the administration and management of the following technologies:
Essential: Apple IOS, Office 365 and Microsoft Online Services, Intune and Entra, Helpdesk and ITIL
Desirable: Proxmox Experience, Unify Networking Experience, Fortigate or PFsense Firewall Experience, Linux administration.
