We have a backfill opportunity for a Security Architect to join our client’s team in Canberra. The work will include development and maintenance of a technology and security current state, target state and roadmap / intermediate architectures. This will be achieved by producing technical artefacts such as standards, patterns, policies, reference architectures, roadmaps, engineering, and configuration code, as well as providing advice, governance and assurance services.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Developing ICT Security and Identity Credential and Access Management patterns based on ISM, NIST, SABSA, PSPF, Zero Trust and other industry cyber frameworks.
- Governing projects technology implementation to conform to technology and security roadmaps.
- Working with vendors to understand their technology roadmaps and how to best apply vendor technologies to create an optimal IT operating environment, including defining standards, policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Designing operational efficiency into the technology architecture including best practice.
- Investigating emerging technology and develop secure solutions for the our client's enterprise.
- Building holistic views of our client's strategy, processes, information, and assets and apply this knowledge.

Security Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold current NV1 (NV2 preferred) Security Clearance.
