Your role
Kockums is on an exciting change journey not least within the IT, Methods and Tools area where we are instrumental in supporting our business in delivering products developed with the latest technology and IT-tools. We are seeking to recruit an IT object leader to join our Business Support team within Business Unit Underwater Systems; where the amount of activity ongoing beneath the surface requires more people to keep the waters safe. You’ll have the chance to tap into a dynamic and friendly Business Unit with immense potential, offering you opportunities for personal growth and involvement at various levels in the world of supporting business.
You will act as IT object leader in PM3 object for Business Unit Underwater Systems and work closely together with other IT object leaders within the Business Area Kockums and with IT managers within the Business Area Dynamics. You will, together with the Business Units process co-drivers, and through object roadmap, maintenance plan and development plan, support and drive operational tasks and internal projects, ensure IT components Service Level Agreements (SLA) and secure IT resources. You will be a key role in facilitating and coordinating the technological transition from Business Area Dynamics to Business Area Kockums parallel with continual support to the organization regarding key tasks as below.
You will report in line management to the Head of Business Support within the Business Unit Underwater Systems but work principally in steering and collaboration under Head of IT, Methods and Tools within Business Area Kockums. Your home office will be in Linköping but you will be required to travel regularly to our business sites in Karlskoga, Karlskrona, Malmö and Motala.

We are looking for a person who is interested and passionate about understanding our business and using their skills to support and develop operations. You are a team player adept at leading change and with excellent communications skills. You have a good sense of producing and maintaining qualitative and robust solutions that benefits the business combined with a track record of on time execution. A fine-tuned balance of collaboration and compromising when needed is key! Excellent skills in analyzing information and problem solving is also needed.
Required skills:
University degree in Information Technology or equal proven experience through work life with several years of relevant experience
IT knowledge including software, network, infrastructure and security including Cyber-security
Considerable knowledge of IT operations and support driven by business demand
Experience of leading teams in change
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
Driving license B
Desired skills:
Experience from IT environment operations and support within defense industry or large organization with many specific regulations and other requirements
Experience from requirement management
Experience from Digitalized Product Development/Product Management
Considerable knowledge in project management
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
