As part of the Clinical Application Services team, the IT Officer (Clinical Applications) will action service requests and provide first level support services through the state-wide Clinical Application Support Team. These services include maintaining accurate information in clinical applications, user access management, problem resolution, incident and service request management together with vendor and client management.

Some maintenance and monitoring of enterprise management systems may also be required.

The Role:

1. Provide support for DoH Clinical Applications including maintaining information consistency across systems, managing user access controls, and general software maintenance and support.
2. Provide technical advice and consulting services to clients, vendors and IT Services staff.
3. Contribute to the development and maintenance of support processes, procedures and policies including associated documentation.

The Clinical Application Support Team:

• A state-wide team administering and supporting Clinical Applications;
• High attention to detail to ensure cross system integration functions seamlessly;
• Highly collaborative with other Health ICT Teams with a strong customer focus.

Details of Appointment

Permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible. 

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $64,125 - $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Eligibility:

1. Relevant industry experience
2. Degree or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
3. A current Driver’s Licence
