Our close-knit, warm, and high-performing IT team is seeking an enthusiastic IT Officer (Level 2) to join us in delivering exceptional service and technical support to our school community.
As an IT Officer, you will be an integral part of our agile and service-oriented IT team, providing efficient technical assistance to the school’s information technology users. You will be responsible for answering questions and resolving IT problems that arise in person, via telephone, or electronically.
This is a permanent, fulltime position, working across Monday to Friday, typically 8:30am to 5pm. This position works term time and school holidays and while it is based at our Senior Campus in Mowbray, you will work across both our Senior and Junior Campus’.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Appropriate post-secondary qualifications and / or industry experience relevant to the position e.g., completion of a Certificate IV in Information Technology Support or similar.
- 2+ years’ experience in the delivery of IT services including support, infrastructure, audio/visual technologies.
- Previous experience working in School environment is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
- Demonstrated high level technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an IT environment.
- Desirable experience should include Endpoint software and hardware support, enterprise networking, Microsoft AD and 365 Administration
- current registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania), or be eligible for registration
- current National Police History Record Check, or be willing to obtain
- a current driver’s licence.
