Job description:
Provide first and some second level support for the Department of Health (DoH) hardware, software and systems including the logging of calls, incident resolution and when required escalation.
The Role:
As a member of the Department of Health (DoH) IT Service Centre, the IT Technician:
Provides first point of contact support and resolution up to second level support to clients for IT Client Services including:
PC hardware and software installation.
Incident resolution.
Ticket logging.
Follow-up to completion.
Escalates issues through IT Support teams as required.
The scope of work is defined by the operational priorities of the assigned business unit and the role works collaboratively within and across teams and with stakeholders to meet agreed priorities and branch service standards.
