- Collaborate with development and OES technical team members to maintain an up to date, secure environment, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Provide effective technical support to systems users and remain open to learning new technologies.
- Coordinate ad-hoc IT projects, small initiatives, and ongoing minor tweaks to configuration, enhancements, optimisations, and customisations.
- Manage and document Youi customisations and systems, including Youi-specific configuration management and associated documentation.
- Ensure continuous maintenance of system documentation generated during maintenance activities and provide support for future upgrades.
- Monitor and enhance the availability and performance of computer systems, plan system capacities, manage user requirements, including disk space management, and ensure systems are backed up according to the appropriate schedule.
- Install, test, and maintain system software, and address issues in operating system software while offering technical consultation to users and System Programmers.
- IT Degree or Equivalent vendor qualifications.
- Experience at a Senior Administrator level (2+ years is a general indicator).
- Experienced with managing virtualised infrastructure within multiple data centres. Specifically, Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware experience.
- Experienced with deploying and managing server operating systems (Windows Server 2016 & 2019 and Linux Red Hat).
- Experienced in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experienced in Networking, Security and SAN Storage.
- Knowledge in the administration of monitoring solutions such as New Relic and Splunk.
- Level 3 troubleshooting for incidents of server infrastructure.
- Experienced in managing patch deployment automation.
- Experienced in managing Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, Exchange, and SQL.
- Experienced in Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Defender, and Purview)
- Hardware Knowledge in Cisco compute, Pure Storage and Cohesity.
