AddressMy client is a large Not For Profit organisation, based close to Melbournes CBD. This organisation is values driven, focussing on providing exceptional care and support to a large base of clients which it was created to support.
As part of the continued growth and transformation of this organisation, they require a n IT Procurement Manager, showing the investment they are willing to put in to improve Procurement across the board!
ROLE
The IT Procurement Manager will join the business at a time when this program is in full swing and you will be partnering directly with the Program management team to source, select and deliver a number of IT projects across all the whole IT portfolio.
Specifically, you will:
- Manage and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities for improvement
- Conduct supplier relationship reviews to ensure compliance and continue to build relationships with key partners
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders whilst ensuring you are working within the values of the organisation
We require a procurement professional with experience in running large and complex sourcing events, specifically with IT. You will be joining a program that is already in full motion, so you will need to be able to hit the ground running and not be able to navigate the initial speed with which you will need to integrate.
Specifically we want:
- Strong commercial and contract knowledge within IT contract space
- Large enterprise wide IT system sourcing experience required
- High level of stakeholder engagement capability as you will be dealing with external parties
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop clear business cases which will be seen up to Exec level
