Your Impact
Reporting to the Regional Procurement Head - Procurement Excellence, this role involves managing and minimising spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving processes related to indirect spend and create a sustainable, cost-conscious culture to help deliver bottom line impact to our business.
Key responsibilities
You will achieve success in this role by identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimisation, improve mechanisms for managing, tracking and reporting, increase education and understanding of correct spend practices within business and build and support processes.
Specifically, you will;
• Manage spend smart implementation project timelines, ensuring on time application of all spend packages
• Collaborate with key package owners (Procurement, Finance and others) to define and set spend smart guardrails
• Drive the implementation of a granular indirect budget process
• Manage Purchase Request tracking for compliance
• Partner with business unit leaders to drive spend smart decisions
• Business partner with the Group Chiefs to provide insight and recommendations on spend smart program decisions
• Support with transformation projects owned by Procurement
• Collaborate with the Global Procurement Office to implement strategy locally
• Lead and manage team as required
• Be a cultural champion for our Transformation program
About You
With a background of achievement of cost reduction and change management, you are a leader who is adaptable and capable of mentoring a small team of analysts, while managing relationships with other stakeholders in a way that builds trust and connections at all levels and delivers optimal service outcomes.
Ideally you will have a background in finance, procurement, spend optimisation or broader supply chain roles in a fast-paced environment. Also, you will offer:
• Superior communication, influencing and change management skills
• Outstanding stakeholder management, leadership and influencing skills across all levels of the business
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing or developing budgets with cross functional input
• Experience with continuous improvement programs
• Commercial / financial literacy
• Expertise in SAP and data visualisation tools (preferred)
