It Project Engineer (Internal)

Your new company A growing Managed Service Provider based in Melbourne's South-East requires an IT Project Engineer to join its internal team for a permanent vacancy commencing immediately. Your new role Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking research and development duties to ensure the organisation keeps up to date with the latest tools / technology / automation / processes.
Providing support to the Chief Technology Officer in building the technology stack.
Developing, documenting and implementing technical processes and standards.
Managing complex IT projects and delivering them end-to-end.
Maintaining / improving the internal cybersecurity posture.
Performing quality assurance on solution designs for accuracy and best practice.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience delivering a broad range of IT projects end-to-end.
Strong experience with research and development of new technologies / processes and presenting these findings to business leaders.
Proven experience with Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, VMware / Hyper-V, Azure, Network Infrastructure configuration and Automation / Scripting (PowerShell preferred).
Excellent documentation skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of a business.
A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Azure, Microsoft, Cisco and VMware certifications are beneficial.
Proven experience working within a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy is advantageous.
