ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Project Manager to plan and actively manage the delivery of IT-enabled business initiatives with a primary focus on Security and Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be accountable for the end-to-end project delivery of one or technology more projects, combining excellent communication, relationship management and organisational skills.
Duties will include (but not limited to) -
- Proactively manage the project schedule, activities, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, scope and stakeholders
- Resource planning and management
- Project budget control
- Manage a diverse team across multiple time-zones and locations
- Manage external vendors
- Create and present written and verbal project status updates to Executive level
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to and participate in Project Management Office planning and co-ordination activities
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will portray the following –
- 5+ managing projects within agreed time, cost, quality and scope
- Attention to detail, exceptional problem solving, time management and personal organisation skills
- Experience in infrastructure and/or security projects would be beneficial
- Experience is implementing ISO27001 would be advantageous
- Experience implementing and delivering on projects that span one or multiple business units
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, including clear, confident presentation to executive level
- Experience in the delivery of programs using waterfall, agile and hybrid techniques
- Ability to plan and co-ordinate projects from inception to closure including setup of JIRA, sprint planning, reporting etc.
- Detail orientated with technical proficiency
- Highly motivated, self-driven with a positive attitude
